NATHAN LOW : FOUNDING PARTNER & PRESIDENT 

Nathan is the Founder and President of Sunrise Financial Group Inc. and Sunrise Israel Tech, a growth engine for Israeli startups.

Prior to founding Sunrise Financial Group, Nathan invested in over 100 startups over 20 years, 70 of which in Israel. Notable investments include Concentric Research, Arena Pharmaceuticals, On-Track Innovations and Enzymotec. Nathan’s investment strategy involves strong advisory presence and active support, encouraging strategic partnerships for his portfolio companies.

Sunrise Securities raised in excess of $6 billion for over 60 domestic and international public and private companies, using a variety of financing instruments.

Nathan graduated Cum Laude from Harvard College in 1982, and speaks English, French, Spanish and Hebrew. He also serves on a variety of charitable boards for projects involving the cancer care, education and the developmentally disabled.

Victor Shenkar

Victor is the founder of GeoSim Systems Ltd. Smarter TV, and is a co-founder and former CEO of Tiltan Systems Engineering Ltd. As former head of the R&D Division of the Israeli Air Force (ret. Colonel), Victor attained national recognition for his achievements in R&D management, creative thinking and technological innovation. Israel has twice awarded him its prestigious Israel Defense Prize. Dr. Shenkar holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in EE (Technion in Haifa, Israel) and a Ph.D. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering (Stanford University,USA). Victor gave up a promising career as an actor to become a scientist and an engineer. His favorite composer is Chopin.

 

Henri Isenberg

Henri co-founded Review Inc in 2012 where he serves as Chief Operating Officer and board member. Review Inc provides “software as a service” that helps businesses manage their review driven online reputation. Previously, Mr. Isenberg served at Symantec for 24 years. During his tenure with Symantec, Mr. Isenberg served in both executive and technical leadership positions. Mr. Isenberg led key trans-formative events including Symantec’s strategic shift to security, expansion from consumer software to enterprise software and a massive M&A execution that grew Symantec from a $600M company to a $6B company within a 5 year period.

 

Salek Brodsky

Salek is currently a senior business development executive at a large multinational electronics company. Mr. Brodsky joined the company as part of its acquisition of Boxee, Inc., where he served as CFO and Head of Business Development. Boxee was Mr. Brodsky’s fifth technology start-up, having successfully exited three others, while continuing to enjoy the ongoing success of the fourth. Prior to Boxee, Brodsky served as COO of Daylife, Inc. (acquired by NewsCred), where he negotiated key investment and distribution agreements as well as licensing deals with leading media companies worldwide. Before joining Daylife, Brodsky served as SVP, Corporate Development for Verified Person, Inc., a company co-founded by John Sculley (of Apple and Pepsi fame) and held various leadership roles in business, product and corporate development at StarMedia Network (acquired by France Telecom). While at StarMedia he was responsible for over $200M in acquisitions and investments and also served as President of Affiliate Operations for the publicly traded media company. Brodsky joined StarMedia from Firefly Network, Inc. (acquired by Microsoft) where he was responsible for business development and product marketing.

Nir has more than 25 years of experience in senior management, in military as well as civil surroundings. Nir has a strong background in strategy, marketing and sales, with special focus on innovation. He specializes in leading organizations that need to go through turn around processes. Currently, Nir is the CEO of Zap group (previously Yellow Pages Group). He led the transfer the company from a print oriented company to one of the prominent internet groups in Israel. Prior to Zap group, Nir acted as the CEO of Israeli TV broadcaster Channel 10, and before that he was Executive Deputy CEO of Yes, Israel’s multi channel TV company. Nir served 22 years in IDF, as part of Unit 8200. Among his roles in 8200 – head of planning, head of the intelligence center and deputy commander of 8200. Nir is a retired colonel from IDF, and besides his other duties, he carries out the role of the chairman of 8200 Alumni Association, where he focuses in encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation, mainly in the education field in periphery areas in the country.

 

GERALD ostrov

Jerry is the former CEO of Bausch & Lomb and has held a number of executive roles with Johnson & Johnson as Company Group Chairman for Worldwide Vision Care and for J&J’s North American Consumer and Personal Care businesses.  Jerry is currently the CEO of the Strategic Communications Center, a not-for-profit organization focused on positively impacting American attitudes and beliefs toward Israel and Israelis via proactive communications. Jerry holds a B.S. degree in industrial engineering and operations research from Cornell University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. Jerry has long been active in leadership roles with many Jewish and non-Jewish organizations.

 

ZVIKA KEZURER

Zvika is currently VP of Partner Sales at Amdocs. As Amdocs's Vice President of Partner Sales, Zvika manages the relationships with Amdocs' partners, expanding the overall Partner Eco System, growing their market and selling their products and services to Amdocs customers. Zvika initiated this line of business within Amdocs, extending its revenue tenfold in just 5 years, and doubling its size after additional 5 years. Prior to Amdocs, Zvika worked for Wiztec Solutions (initially part of Digital, and later by Formula Group), leading sales and marketing teams. Previously Zvika managed technical Support and database administration at the Israeli Aircraft Industries, and Yael Software. Zvika currently serves on the advisory board of several software companies, and is also the ICT director at the Lithuania-Israel Technology hub. He is a mentor at the IBM Alpha Zone accelerator and a partner at AfterDox, an angel investment group.

 

TERESA KELLETT

Teresa is a builder/ fixer with eighteen years of success in developing new channels for technology products and services. She begins with identifying market needs and objectives, then negotiates appropriate deals and manages the go-to-market teams and systems necessary to achieve revenue targets.  She has significant experience in global program development and negotiating contracts overseas.  

Teresa is currently heading up International Business Development for Smart Home Ventures, a home automation platform company (mypeq.com). During a lengthy career at Sprint, she held leadership roles and was named one of the “Top Ten Women in Wireless” by FierceWireless.  She holds a Bachelors degree from Rockhurst College in International Relations, Global Studies and French and a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University with Honors in International Business Diplomacy.

Teresa serves on the Board of the Women’s Employment Network and participates as an angel investor in Women’s Capital Connection, which focuses on women-owned and women-run businesses.

 

Kim Polese

Kim Polese is a Silicon Valley-based technology entrepreneur and business leader. Ms. Polese is Chairman of ClearStreet, whose employer-sponsored financial fitness platform makes healthcare affordable and helps people build longterm financial health. She also serves as Chairman of CrowdSmart, which provides a technology platform for continuous innovation to help entrepreneurs build better products and companies. Ms. Polese has a deep track record of technology innovation. She began her career at IntelliCorp, helping Fortune 100 companies use AI expert systems, and later moved into product management at Sun Microsystems where she led the launch of Java in 1995. She then co-founded Internet software pioneer Marimba, serving as President, CEO and Chairman and leading the company to profitability, an IPO and a successful acquisition by BMC. Ms. Polese advises numerous technology startups and serves on several boards, including the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, TechNet, the Public Policy Institute of California, the University of California President's Board on Science and Innovation, and the Long Now Foundation. In 2011 she was named to President Obama's Innovation Advisory Board. Ms. Polese received a Bachelor's degree in Biophysics from UC Berkeley and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business and Economics from California State University. An Aspen Institute Henry Crown Fellow, Ms. Polese is the recipient of the numerous awards and recognition including Information Week's "Top Technology Executives," The National Center for Women and Information Technology Innovator Award and Time Magazine's “25 Most Influential Americans".

 

Daniel Clayman

Daniel is a seasoned manager working and living in South East Asia for the past 30 years. Daniel holds extensive business and government relationships at the highest levels in India, Hong Kong and other South East Asian countries. For the past two decades Daniel has worked in the security services at the Prime Ministers Office, his last post being Division Chief. Daniel's primary focus is on energy, HLS and Big Data.  

 

Tamara towbin

Tamara draws an extensive background in business development, strategy, marketing and communications. Prior to joining BHI (Bank Hapoalim USA) as Head of Hi Tech, Tamara served as VP Business Development at Sunrise Financial Group, a boutique investment bank focused on raising capital for Israeli startups in the US. Before moving to NYC in 2014, Tamara established Towbin Strategy Consulting, a strategy and marketing-communications consulting firm based in Tel Aviv, serving a wide range of clients. Among these, the Israeli Ministry of Defence, the DC-based communication strategy firm APCO Worldwide, and Start-up Nation Central, the non-profit founded by the authors of the bestselling book Start-up Nation. In addition to corporate, government and non-profit work, Tamara has worked extensively with the startup community in Israel, speaking at events and entrepreneurial forums, helping the Israeli startup community crystallise their value propositions, relay their messages to the international market, and grow and develop internationally. Prior to Towbin Consulting, Tamara founded and ran a fashion e-commerce company in London. She has lived and worked in London, Paris, Tokyo and Tel Aviv before moving to New York and speaks English, French and Hebrew. Tamara holds a Masters degree from Oxford University.
